Day 1
Welcome to Guwahati - the Gateway of North-East. Pick up from Guwahati Airport/Station and head towards Bomdila (285km, 8hrs.). Check in at prebooked hotel for comfortable overnight stay in Bomdila. (Arrival should be before 11.00am at Guwahati Airport).
Day 2
Morning after breakfast visit Buddhist monasteries, a craft centre displaying local crafts and a shopping centre where the visitors gets first feel of the local version of Himalayan Buddhist life. Then visit Bomdila View Point and Apple Orchard. Further drive towards Tawang (5Hrs-45Minutes-176Kms) and on the way visit Sela Pass. Then check in at hotel for overnight stay in Tawang
Day 3
Post breakfast visit Tawang Monastery which is also known as Golden Namgyal Lhatse, one of the gems in Arunachal Pradesh. Then head towards Tawang War Memorial which is dedicated to all the martyrs of the Sino-India War of 1962 and Jaswant Garth which is dedicated to the warrior, Jaswant Singh who was killed during the Indo China war in 1962. Also visit Buddha Park, Sixth Dalai Lama Birth Place and Government Sales Emporium. Then back to hotel for night stay in Tawang.
Day 4
The road to Bum La is also a historical route, the People's Liberation Army of China invaded India during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Here in Bum La Pass one of the fiercest battles took place in the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Make a point to get a picture clicked, and place a pebble stone in front of the Heap of Stones, which is a tribute to the Indian Army guardians of the border. Overnight stay at Tawang.
Day 5
Morning after breakfast checkout & head to Dirang (4Hrs-20minutes-135kms). Dirang is one such location that helps you rediscover yourself and be inspired. Site seeing in dirang includes Dirang Dzong, the ruin fort with architectural excellence, Hot Water Spring, Sangti Valley and Kalachakra Gompa. Overnight stay in Dirang
Day 6
After breakfast, check out from Hotel & proceed to Guwahati (8hrs-295kms), check into the hotel. If time permits, boat cruise at Brahmaputra River in the evening, overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.
Day 7
Morning after early breakfast, check out from hotel, if time permits darshan at Kamakhya Devi temple & then drop at airport / railway station for onward connection.
