In morning get ready for a day, full of sightseeing in Mysore.
First, head to the Chamundi Hills on the outskirts of Mysore city to see Chamundeshwari Temple, built in Dravidian architecture. The presiding deity of the shrine, revered by the local kings in former times, Goddess Chamundeshwari, is said to be an incarnation of Goddess Parvati or Goddess Durga.
